CISARC INNOVATION IN CU+ SIMULATION

KAY PRODUCTIONS has been in charge of supplying, installing and designing the new software for the 8 simulation units.
CISARC has 8 full simulation units in CISARC Health, which can run concurrently, and 3 simulation units in CISARC Business. Each unit is made up of a simulated scenario, a direct observation and debriefing area and a control area.
A maximum of 15 students per group can work in each unit, so there can be 120 students doing quality simulation at the same time. In total more than 50 different scenarios can be recreated.
As is usual with KAY in all recent projects, he firmly counts on QSC, with its matrix and camera system, from AUDIOTECHNICA, with its new intelligent microphone system, in this project we control 17 units at once , and from MARTIN, with high-end ceiling speakers.
The CISARC works and offers the possibility of carrying out tests of concepts, usability and applicability of both products and equipment that can have an impact on improving quality and processes.
At the same time, the experience and journey together with the Chair of Simulation and Patient Safety and the Transformative Innovation and Simulation Research Group (GRITS), allows us to use both the knowledge, the expertise of people, and the facilities for the investigation of new communication models or new work processes of a team as well as the validation of new assessment tools.
